First Track Meet of 2021 “Hometown Games”

Hello my name is ross Rintelman

Ozaukee county Special Olympics track & field team just started with their first competition meet at Mukwonago high school,  Special Olympics hosted an all-day sporting event was called the  “Hometown Games” which was this past weekend on Saturday, May 15th.  This is the year that all of the Special Olympic fine athletes from all over competing & enjoying every moment of their lives to participate also having fun on or off the track. We have a great motto: all we do is fun, sportsmanship & respectful those are three simple words.

Please we need your support from all of you to congratulate them for their great achievements & well-deserved recognition for the job that it is not all about winning or losing it’s about how you are being so proud of yourself & everyone to try their hardest for being great athletes all year round & the sport that you love so much & bring home the gold!! I’d always give you 100 % for all of you do and wishing everyone an outstanding season this summer.

The participants were Michael B., Kyle C., Diego E., Christian E., Faith K., Scott K., Holly K., Robert K., Rebecca L., Quinn N., Matthew P., Joseph S., Jacob W., and Eresi, Y.

Between all the Athletes we had over a dozen 1st prizes, almost 20 2nd prizes, and almost a half dozen 3rd prizes.  Looks like they all came home with smiles.

We are proud of all our athletes for giving their best and being brave with competing!
