GET INVOLVED

SPORTS TRAINING & COMPETITION

Special Olympics was established to give opportunities for sports training and competition
for individuals with intellectual disabilities (formally known as cognitive disabilities).

Individuals with an intellectual disability between the age of 8 and beyond can join our organization and participate in all sports and competition teams.

Individuals with an intellection disability age 7 or younger may join our Young Athletes Program. (Which is really cool!)

Becoming an Athlete

To join as an athlete, contact Special Olympics Wisconsin
or request application materials from us.

Athletes must have complete a medical examination (on Special Olympics medical forms made available to you) and a signed Release of Information for Special Olympics before admission can happen.

Those interested in joining may download the below forms and, once completed, mail these to the Ozaukee County Special Olympics.
